For this tutorial you will need:
Some tubes, colours and font of your choice.
I have included the materials I used in the zip file
Download here
Save the Gold Beads and Graphic 09 to your PSP Patterns folder if you don't have them
Open new Transparent Image 650 x 450
Colours I used: Foreground #636137, Background #c5c086
Materials Palette Pattern Graphic 09, Angle = 0, Size = 85
Flood fill Raster 1
The next set of instructions are done on Raster 1
Materials Palette. Change to Foreground Background Gradient
Radial, Angle = 61, Repeats = 9, Invert not checked. Center points both at 0
Magic Wand. Select all the Black Stripes and Flood with Gradient
Add Noise 5%, Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Selections None
Magic Wand. Select the White Stripes
Selections Modify, Expand by 3, Flood with the light background colour
Leave Selection active
Effects, Distortion Effects, Wave
Horizontal Displacement, Amplitude = 0, Wavelength = 100
Vertical Displacement, Amplitude = 8, Wavelength = 50, Edge Mode Transparent
Leave Selection active
Effects, Texture Effects, Weave
Gap size = 1, Width = 6, Opacity = 10, Weave Colour, Dark Foreground colour,Gap Colour White, Fill gaps checked
Selections Invert
Effects 3D Effects Drop Shadow
Vertical = 1, Horizontal = 8, Opacity = 30, Blur = 17, Colour, Dark Foreground Colour
Selections None
Materials Palette. Change Foreground Pattern to Gold Beads
Change size to 100, leave the light coloured background
Preset Shapes, Ellipse, Create as a Vector, Line width = 5
Pull out a circle using the right mouse button
Objects Align, Center in Canvas
Convert to Raster
Image Effects, Offset
Horizontal Minus 125, Vertical = 0, Transparent checked
(If your circle touches the left edge reduce the Horizontal Offset)
Magic Wand. Select the solid center, Selections Modify, Expand by 2
Effects, Texture Effects, Weave. Same settings as above
Selections None
Open Kate Ivy, Resize 75%
Copy and Paste as a New Layer, Move to left Edge
Close original without saving changes
Adjust, One Step Noise Removal
Open Chili Windy corner tube
Mirror
Copy and Paste as a New Layer
Move to top right corner. Layer Mode Luminance (L )
Adjust, One Step Noise Removal
Close the original without saving changes
Effects, 3D Drop Shadow
Vertical = 1, Horizontal = 8, Opacity = 50, Blur = 9, Colour Dark Foreground colour
Open GD Elaine Franks Flower. Resize 45%
Copy and Paste as a New Layer
Move over to the right
(See tag for placement)
Apply the drop shadow used above and change Layer Mode to Luminance (L)
Add Text in font of choice
Merge All Layers Visible
Resize All Layers 85%, Adjust Sharpness, Sharpen
Copy
Image, Add Borders, Symmetrical = 15, Colour White
Selections Modify Expand by 3
Paste into Selection
Adjust Blur Gaussian Blur = 10, Leave selection active
Effects, Texture Effects, Weave
Gap = 1, Width = 4, Opacity = 10, Weave Colour Dark Foreground Colour, Gap Colour White, Fill Gaps checked
Selections Invert
Effects, 3D Drop Shadow
Vertical = 1, Horizontal = 5, Opacity = 100, Blur = 14, Colour Dark Foreground Colour
Repeat with Vertical at Minus 1, Horizontal Minus 5
Selections None
Image Add Borders Symmetrical = 2, Dark Foreground colour
Add watermark and any necessary Copyright information
Resize using Bicubic Resampling
