For this tutorial you will need:
A selection of Tubes, colours and font of your choice.
I have included the materials I used in the zip file

Open a New Transparent Image 650 x 450
Materials Palette. Foreground set to mqc curl gradient
Angle = 0, Repeats = 0, Linear, Invert not checked
Flood fill Raster 1 with gradient and Add Noise, Gaussian checked - 10% - Monochrome
Repeat the Noise effect
Copy and Paste tin@visual illusions tube as a New Layer
Image - Resize this layer only by 85% Move down a little
Selection Tool - Freehand Selection
Point to point in the drop down menu - Mode Add/Shift - Smoothing = 0, antialias not checked
Hold down Shift - Outline shape on left
Double click to close the selection
If you missed a few pixels Modify the selection, either expand or contract or start over again

New Layer
Flood with gradient of choice - Linear
Angle = 45, Repeats = 0, Invert not checked
Add Noise same setting as above
Apply Blinds, Width = 2, Opacity to suit, Colour of choice
Selections None
New Layer
Outline the next shape in the same way as above
Flood with a contrasting gradient
Add Noise, Apply Blinds in the opposite direction
Selections None
New Layer
Outline the last shape
Flood with another colour or gradient
Add Noise, then apply Effects - Texture Effects
Weave. Gap size = 1, Width = 3, Colour of choice for Weave and Gap colours
Check Fill Gaps and change the opacity to suit your colours
Selections None


Highlight Raster 2 - Delete
Hide Raster 1
Merge remaining layers visible
Unhide Raster 1
Highlight the merged layer - Duplicate
Highlight the merged layer - (down one layer)
Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind - Right - Strength = 100
Repeat this time from Left
Hide Raster 1
Merge remaining layers visible
Unhide Raster 1 and Highlight the merged layer
Duplicate the merged layer
Image - Resize 75%, this layer only
Use the mover tool, move over and up to the right
Duplicate the top layer
Image - Resize 75% use the mover tool to move over and up to the right
When your images are positioned where you like them
Hide Raster 1
Merge remaining layers visible
Highlight the merged layer
Edit - Cut - Paste as a New Layer - the image is centered now
Image - Flip

New Layer
Foreground to mqc curl gradient
Linear - Angle = 0, Repeats = 0, Invert not checked
Selection Tool - Custom Selection
Top = 410, Left = 0, Right = 650, Bottom = 450
Flood with the mqc curl gradient
Selections None
Drag this Layer above Raster 1
Duplicate and Flip

The Merged layer is blank
Highlight Raster 3
Duplicate
Image - Free Rotate 90 Left
Highlight Copy of Raster 3
Duplicate - Image - Free Rotate 90 Left
Hide the top layer (the triangles)
Merge all remaining Layers Visible
Important! Resize All Layers now so the pattern effect doesn't distort
I resized by 85%
Magic Wand - Tolerance set to 40 - RGB Mode - Add/Shift
Select the black areas
Selections Modify - Contract by 4
Effects - Texture Effects - Weave
Gap = 1, Width = 3, Opacity and colours of choice. Fill gaps checked
Selections None
Unhide the top layer
Now is the time to lower opacity or change the Layer Mode
On the finished tag at the top the Layer Opacity is 70 and Layer Blend Mode is Difference
Scroll through each Layer Mode until you find one you like
Add tubes, text or brushes to finish the tag
Image add borders 1 pixel symmetrical - colour to match your tube
Add another 1 pixel border of a contrasting colour
Add watermark and any necessary Copyright information
Be creative, a tutorial is a guideline only so have fun
